Participants of the Autumn School 2023
From 2 to 6 October, CIHEAM Bari hosted the 2023 edition of RISE-ATTER Autumn School, a residential training initiative co-organised with Schola Campesina and LAG Alto Salento 2020, gathering 9 researchers and practitioners from France, Italy, UK and USA.

Open Conference ATTER 2023 was an opportunity for rich exchanges between researchers, institutional and associative actors, the first step in a conversion and mutual enrichment to be continued and brought to life together.
ATTER Open Conference
The event, that will be held in Rennes (France), 3rd July 2023, will share analysis and lessons learned for agroecological transitions and territorial foodsystems.

The ATTER workshop “The construction of new food networks: reflections on the role of actors in the democratization of access to quality food” was organised, within Karine Nunes’ (PNRMA) secondment to UFRGS, in Florianopolis, Brazil, by the Federal University of Santa Catarina and INRAE (13rd February 2023).

During the month of February, 6 PhD researchers from the network were generously hosted by CIHEAM and Alto Salento for the first ATTER PhD retreat.
PMW in Rio, Territorial food transitions between public policies and collective action
This event was organised at the CPDA in Rio de Janiero by UFRRJ, INRAE, UFRGS and ASPTA (all participants of the ATTER network) with the support of ANA (Brazilian National Articulation of Agroecology), 8th November 2022.
As part of the ATTER project, CAWR staff co-designed and delivered a seven day event at Monkton Wyld Court in Dorset, UK.
ATTER's second annual meeting will take place from Wednesday 21st through Friday 23rd September 2022 at the CIEHAM campus in Bari, Italy.
The online event "Agroecology and public action in the territories: Brazil-France roundtable " was organised by ATTER’s Brazilian partners along with other Brazilian organisations: Articulação Nacional de Agroecologia (ANA), ASPTA, Casa dos Saberes, CPDA/UFRRJ, Embrapa Agrobiology and GEPAD/UFRGS. One of their speaker was Gilles Maréchal from Terralim performing at the time a secondment for ATTER in Brazil.
